Member Committees

This committee is primarily made up of dairy cooperative directors from Minnesota and Wisconsin who work on issues that affect not only dairy cooperatives but their producer-members. It is a prime example of the value of a two-state organization through the exchange of member ideas from one state to the other.Member cooperatives appoint directors to attend committee meetings. 

This committee guides Cooperative Network’s public policy stances on Wisconsin legislative and regulatory issues pertaining to the dairy sector, with a particular focus on matters impacting processing facilities, milk procurement, and dairy producers.

This committee was established by the Farm Credit associations that serve Wisconsin. It is comprised of two directors and the CEO (or representative) from each association. Cooperative Network staffs the committee, which annually adopts its public policy positions and holds the grassroots Farm Credit Legislative Conference and meeting with Congressional staff in Wisconsin.

The Minnesota Electric Co-op Roundtable is a gathering of member directors, CEOs, general managers, and other professionals operating in Minnesota. The group meets at least twice a year to hear from lawmakers and other key stakeholders about state and federal policy issues and politics and to weigh in on the policy, political, and economic issues that affect their cooperative businesses.

This committee annually reviews Cooperative Network's written resolutions, which are the association's state and federal policy positions, and recommends changes for member consideration at the annual meeting.

The Senior Cooperative Housing Council is a committee of senior cooperative housing members, directors, managers, developers, management companies, and other professionals primarily in Minnesota. The group plans education programs and the annual national Senior Cooperative Housing Conference, fosters interaction between member cooperatives, and influences legislation pertinent to senior housing cooperatives.
