The meeting will open at 8:45 a.m. for check-in/virtual gathering, begin promptly at 9:00 a.m., and conclude at 12:00 p.m.

Join us as Chuck provides an overview of the National Council of Farmer Cooperatives (NCFC) and articulates the value and contribution of cooperative councils and other apex/trade organizations in the present environment. One of the benefits of such organizations is the ability and capacity to monitor, influence, and communicate policy and best practices for the benefit of members. What legislative issues affecting cooperatives will remain in 2024? What might we expect in a new administration and Congress in 2025? What research is needed for cooperatives? For what governance issues might cooperatives prepare their leadership? How is NCFC addressing sustainability and climate change issues? Join us for a thought-provoking presentation followed by robust discussion facilitated by Courtney Berner, executive director of the University of Wisconsin Center for Cooperatives.
